Statement of Significance (as of January 1, 2001):
After moving to South Carolina in November 2000, and having unfortunate luck at finding a job, I applied to the Bi-Lo that was less than a mile from my apartment on November 25. I had resolved to work at a grocery store as a last resort because the only work experience I had at the time was at a grocery store. I was hired that same day and I worked for Bi-Lo for four months before finding a better paying job in March 2001.
